I have been a resident of White Bear Lake for over 35 years and grew up in Ward 3. I graduated from White Bear Lake Area High School and went on to play football for Lou Holtz with the Minnesota Gophers.

I have been married to my wife, Sallie, for over 23 years and we have three daughters; Sam, who attends South Campus, Kayla, is at North Campus and Emma is at Sunrise.

My professional background is kitchen cabinet design & remodeling. I am currently employed with a kitchen cabinet manufacturer as the Senior Marketing Manager in charge of product development and marketing.

In 1998 we moved back to White Bear Lake to be closer to our family and raise our children in a great community. When our oldest daughter reached school age I became active in the PTO at Lakeaires Elementary school and served as president from 2003-2005. I was then appointed to the City Variance Board, serving, for one year and then elected to the White Bear Lake City Council in the fall of 2007.
